Silver Scars

Sometimes, we are asked to bring to life a completely custom army, with no pre existing lore or background. These projects are always exciting but also require good communication between us and the client we are working with. We want to make sure that the vision presented is exactly what we end up producing! In this case, we put together a successor force of the White Scars, but in a metallic scheme. The symbol suggested was a lightning strike, in homage to their parent chapter and to also symbolise their specialisation as a lightning fast raiding force that defeats the enemy with sheer speed. When approaching a project like this, it is key to understand the lore of the First Founding chapter that it is a successor to.

The White Scars are a fierce and nomadic Space Marine Chapter, are renowned for their speed, hit-and-run tactics, and the legacy of their Primarch, Jaghatai Khan. Hailing from the harsh and steppes of Chogoris, the White Scars are masters of lightning-fast warfare, embodying the spirit of the Great Khan and the equestrian traditions of their homeworld.

At the helm of the White Scars stands Jaghatai Khan, the Primarch whose strategic brilliance and exceptional combat skills have left an indelible mark on the chapter. Known as the Great Khan, he leads the White Scars with a blend of tactical acumen and the ferocity inherent in the warrior traditions of Chogoris. Under his guidance, the White Scars have developed unique and lightning-swift tactics that set them apart on the battlefield.

White Scars tactics revolve around rapid strikes, hit-and-run assaults, and unparalleled speed. Their forces, often mounted on bikes and assault vehicles, excel at maneuvering through the battlefield with unmatched agility. The Chogorian Brotherhood, a brotherhood within the chapter, emphasizes the use of bikes and speeders, showcasing the White Scars' commitment to swift and decisive engagements.

The lore of the White Scars is rich with tales of their exploits across the galaxy, from the Horus Heresy to the present day. Their nomadic lifestyle, affinity for mounted warfare, and the influence of Chogorian culture make them a distinctive and intriguing chapter within the expansive Warhammer 40,000 universe. The White Scars' narrative is a blend of swiftness, honour, and the pursuit of perfection in the art of war.
