Iron Ravens
The Iron Ravens are a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter comprised entirely of Primaris Space Marines, created from the lineage of the Raven Guard and raised during the Ultima Founding.
The Iron Ravens are specialists in sudden, shocking drop assaults. Their 10th Company elements may spend solar months building up local intelligence and preparing the ground so that, when the main body of the Iron Ravens force comes screaming down into battle in their Drop Pods, they strike with such decisive and destructive precision that the war is won with a single, unstoppable sword-blow.
They exist as a successor to the Raven Guard Chapter, a venerable and stealthy Space Marine Chapter in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Led by the enigmatic Primarch Corvus Corax, the Raven Guard forged their identity on the world of Deliverance, embracing the arts of guerrilla warfare and subterfuge.
At the heart of the Raven Guard's ethos lies a commitment to swift and precise strikes, epitomizing the hit-and-run tactics of their Primarch. Corvus Corax, a master tactician and leader, instilled in his sons a sense of discipline and a preference for covert operations. The Raven Guard's penchant for stealth and ambushes sets them apart from their brother Space Marine Chapters, allowing them to strike at the heart of their enemies with deadly precision.
The Iron Ravens colour scheme is striking. Using a metallic silver armour as a base, proudly adorned with blues, reds and golds. Each rank has a specific marking painted onto their helmets, between these and the squad markings, an army has so much visual interest when arrayed on the battlefield. In the vast tapestry of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, there are countless Space Marine chapters, and the Iron Ravens are a testament to a homebrew army turned into a mainstream force.
